Trump Unleashes Attacks On Biden In Pre-Emptive State Of The Union Rebuttal
Former President Donald Trump uncorked a plethora of attacks on President Joe Biden on Tuesday, offering a bleak rebuke to Biden’s State of the Union message.
In a recorded video, Trump, a 2024 GOP presidential candidate, trotted out what he called “the real state of the union” — a summary of the anti-Biden messaging he has honed since he launched his bid for the White House late last year.
“Here’s the real state of the union. Over the past two years under Biden, millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different countries, have stormed across our southern border.”
Trump accused Biden and “the radical Democrats” of failing on immigration and crime and took shots at the president’s handling of transgender issues and the U.S. involvement in the war in Ukraine.
“Joe Biden’s weaponized Justice Department — and I’m a victim of it — is persecuting his political opponents. His administration is waging war on free speech. They’re trying to indoctrinate and mutilate our children,”
Trump, flanked by two U.S. flags said, “He’s leading us to the brink of World War III. And on top of all of that, he’s the most corrupt president in American history.”
The 45th President of The United States then moved on to attacking Biden for what he characterized as the utter disaster of the deadly drug crisis enabled by the anarchy at the southern border, saying “Drug cartels are now raking in billions of dollars from smuggling poison to kill our people and to kill our children.”
He then addressed the skyrocketing crime under Biden; “Savage killers, rapists and violent criminals are being released from jail to continue their crime wave. And under Biden, the murder rate has reached the highest in the history of our country.”
Trump pledged to correct the “destruction of our country” and return to making America great again if elected in 2024, saying:
“I am running for president to end the destruction of our country and to complete the unfinished business of making America great again. We will make our country better than ever before, and will always put America first.”
