Illegal Alien’s TikTok Viral Videos Lead to His Swift Deportation!

The Trump administration has confirmed the deportation of Leonel Moreno, a Venezuelan national who gained notoriety for his TikTok videos advising illegal immigrants on exploiting U.S. squatting laws. Moreno, self-proclaimed as “the migrant influencer,” was removed from the United States and returned to Venezuela earlier this week.

Moreno illegally entered the U.S. on April 23, 2022, via Eagle Pass, Texas. Initially enrolled in Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Alternatives to Detention program, he failed to report within 60 days, leading to his arrest in Gahanna, Ohio, in March 2024. An immigration judge ordered his deportation in October 2024; however, Venezuela had been refusing deportation flights at that time. With the Trump administration’s recent resumption of deportation flights to Venezuela, Moreno’s removal was effectuated.

During his time in the U.S., Moreno sparked outrage through his social media presence. In one TikTok video, he waved $100 bills and declared, “I didn’t cross the Rio Grande to work like a slave.” He also encouraged fellow illegal migrants to “invade abandoned houses,” promoting unlawful squatting practices. These actions drew significant criticism from American citizens and officials alike.

Moreno’s deportation flight was reportedly tumultuous. He caused disruptions that upset fellow passengers, necessitating his placement in a separate section of the plane under increased security. Upon arrival in Venezuela, Moreno was seen flashing a thumbs-up and receiving a pat on the shoulder from a security official.

Venezuela’s Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, stated that Moreno was “welcome” back in the country. However, Moreno expressed feelings of persecution, stating, “I came here to the United States because of persecution in my country… But they’re doing the same thing to me in the United States—persecuting me.”

Moreno’s case underscores the challenges posed by individuals who exploit the U.S. immigration system and social welfare programs. His brazen actions, including boasting about government handouts and encouraging illegal activities, highlight the necessity for stringent immigration enforcement and policy reforms.

The Trump administration’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and protecting American citizens is evident in actions like Moreno’s deportation. By removing individuals who flout U.S. laws and exploit its systems, the administration reinforces the importance of legal immigration and respect for the nation’s laws.

Moreno’s deportation serves as a warning to others who might seek to exploit the U.S. immigration system. It emphasizes that illegal entry and subsequent unlawful behavior will not be tolerated and will be met with decisive action.

The American public’s reaction to Moreno’s activities reflects a broader sentiment of frustration with individuals who take advantage of the country’s generosity. His actions not only disrespected U.S. laws but also undermined the integrity of programs designed to assist those in genuine need.

Moving forward, it is imperative that the U.S. continues to enforce its immigration laws rigorously. Cases like Moreno’s highlight the need for vigilance and prompt action to prevent the exploitation of the nation’s resources and to maintain the safety and security of its citizens.

The deportation of Leonel Moreno is a testament to the Trump administration’s dedication to preserving the rule of law and ensuring that those who violate U.S. immigration policies are held accountable. It sends a clear message that the United States will not be a haven for individuals seeking to exploit its systems and that the integrity of the nation’s laws will be upheld.
