AZ Libertarian Senate Candidate Drops Out, Endorses Republican Blake Masters

Going into the 2022 midterms elections, the state of Arizona was on the GOP’s wish list of possible U.S. Senate seat pickups.

But following a brutal GOP primary, the Republican candidate Blake Masters has trailed far-left Democratic incumbent Mark Kelly by as much as 15 points.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell even directed the party to pull some funding from Master’s campaign.

Things have changed considerably over the past 6 months, as voters have watched their budgets go upside down due to record inflation.

They have seen a spike in drugs and human trafficking as an additional 4-plus million illegal aliens were allowed to enter the United States since Biden took office.

Following the grassroots hitting the streets and Masters’ finally getting his messaging tightened up, a recent poll by local FOX 10 found that Blake had closed the deficit. The race is now a toss-up with a libertarian getting up to six percent of the vote.

Well, some great news was just announced for Masters’ campaign.

The Libertarian Senate candidate Marc Victor, dropped out of the race Tuesday, throwing his weight behind the Republican candidate.

“At my invitation, Blake Masters and I had an unscripted, open, and recorded discussion and exchange of ideas on a variety of issues,” Victor said in a written statement. That ranged from tax and economic policy to the Federal Reserve and same-sex marriage, he said.

“I found Blake to be generally supportive of the Live and Let Live Global Peace Movement. Likewise, we found ourselves in general agreement about how to improve America and to advance the cause of freedom and peace. After that discussion, I believe it is in the best interests of freedom and peace to withdraw my candidacy and enthusiastically support Blake Masters for United States Senate. I intend to assist in any way reasonably possible to elect Blake.”
