Breaking – Alec Baldwin Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter

In today’s 24-hour and emotionally driven news cycle, stories that deal with public figures draw huge interest.

Social justice activists who support the suppression of religious and conservative speech and public access, also target leftists who end up on the collectives’ cancel culture list.

The mob has been pressuring the prosecutor in New Mexico to bring charges against Hollywood star Alec Baldwin.

Well, the wheels of justice agree as Bladwin has formally been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting on the set of the movie Rust.

Baldwin and the movie’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, will both face criminal charges for the October 21, 2021 shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, the Santa Fe District Attorney announced Thursday.

Both Baldwin and Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed faces a maximum of 18 months in prison if convicted. Dave Halls, the Assistant Director, has pleaded guilty to the charge of the negligent use of a deadly weapon.

In a statement, Baldwin’s attorney said: “This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice. Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun — or anywhere on the movie set.”

‘He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds. We will fight these charges, and we will win.’

But Mary Carmack-Altwies, the First Judicial District Attorney in New Mexico, is standing firm.

In an interview after the announcement with CNN, she said Baldwin did pull the trigger – and that he ran a ‘fast and loose set’ that was plagued with safety issues.
