GET OUT ZUCK: DeSantis Bans ‘Zuckerbucks,’ Creates Election Police Unit

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is the left’s worst nightmare.

With the FL GOP-controlled legislature behind him, the Sunshine States’ popular Governor is passing one conservative law after another, to go along with his growing number of executive orders.

Earlier this week, the Sunshine State gov signed Senate Bill 524, “[requiring] voter rolls to be annually reviewed and updated to remove ineligible voters, tightens voter ID requirements, and increases penalties for some election-related crimes,” the Daily Wire reports.

“Most notably, it establishes the Office of Election Crimes and Security within the Department of State, which investigates election law violations. The bill also instructs the Secretary of State to submit a report and draft legislation for any further action to strengthen voter ID requirements,” DW continues.

DeSantis’ office also says the bill “[increases] the penalty for ballot harvesting from a first-degree misdemeanor to a third-degree felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison, a $5,000 fine and up to 5 years probation”; it also “[broadens] the prohibition of election supervisors from receiving ‘Zuckerbucks.’”
