Suspect Taken Into Custody For Murdering The Four Idaho Students

It had been nearly 7 weeks since the four University of Idaho students were stabbed to death, without a break in the case.

Finally, a huge development took place on Friday that will hopefully provide some closure for the families of the murdered students and relief for the local college community that has been concerned about the killer not being caught.

At 3 a.m. on Friday Bryan Christopher Kohberger was taken into custody by local police and the FBI in Scranton, Pennsylvania, according to a law enforcement source.

A white Hyundai Elantra – the same make and model of car being sought after in connection to the killing was reportedly towed from outside Kohberger’s home.

Kohberger is being held for extradition in a criminal homicide investigation, based on an active arrest warrant for first-degree murder issued by the Moscow Police Department and Latah County Prosecutor’s Office.
